A man uses a bicycle lock to fasten himself to the fence during an anti-war protest December 16, 2010 in front of the White House in Washington, DC. The protesters are calling for US President Barack Obama to get US troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan.


Daniel Ellsberg(C), former military analyst who released the 'Pentagon Papers' in 1971, uses a cell phone during a protest December 16, 2010 in front of the White House in Washington, DC. Ellsberg and several others were arrested for civil disobedience.

5. He must have been in both the Marines and Army...

He has Marine insignia, a Marine patch for the 1st Marine Division, but an Army CIB w/2 Stars, showing he not only served in WWII, but Korea and Vietnam as well, it's an Army Badge; he's also a Master parachutist. He has a Chaplains subdued cross, (might just be signifying he a Christian...and I can't make out the Unit Crest on his ca;...although the blue would make it and Infantry Regiment.

It is indeed an excellent pic.
