The difference between Republicon Whips and Democratic Whips. |
|
Edited on Mon Dec-14-09 08:46 PM by TheBigotBasher
The Republicans almost without fail drove their agenda through Congress, not ust with smaller majorities but even with a Democratic President. They did so by being united. Right of Centre or far out whacko. Their votes were strong.
In part it was because Republican Whips were and are prepared to drop the dirt on those who diverge. A Rethug Whip will be only too happy to remind a God bothering Congress member of the under age boy that they are shagging. Worse Faux News will make sure there is no forgiveness for their failure as they will put a D by their name.
A Democratic Whip will shrug their shoulders and say, well we do not support purity tests. Backinsurance et al are given free reign to destroy the Party.
