BREAKING MSNBC: Final vote on DADT at 3PM today! |
|
Edited on Sat Dec-18-10 12:45 PM by flpoljunkie
Just reported. Evidently the Republicans decided to not require the 30 hours after cloture for further debate.

3. Whoa whoa whoa!! I was prepared for 30 hours of GOP delay. They realize the futility of their ways. |

Wonder if AF1 will be delaying its takeoff so Obama can make a statement when the final vote is in?

12. That was the cloture vote, to end "debate." |
|
Not real debate, of course, but fake Senate debate, the de facto filibuster. Cloture needed 60 votes, we got 63. Now it's down to the final passage vote, which is a simple majority.
