Kyl Is “Skeptical” Of The 9/11 First Responders Bill
Sen. Jon Kyl Is “Skeptical” Of The 9/11 First Responders Bill
by Nisha Chittal | 2:47 pm, December 19th, 2010

On Fox News Sunday today, host Chris Wallace brought up the subject of the 9/11 First Responders bill, which would provide healthcare coverage to those who were first responders at the scene on 9/11. Senator Jon Kyl told Wallace “It’s a lot of money, so my early response is that I am skeptical about that bill.”

Wallace pressed harder, asking “Don’t these heroes deserve to have peace of mind when it comes to health care?” Kyl responded that he agrees, but that he believes Congress is pushing too hard to try to pass the bill before Christmas, and that they should wait until the new year where they can take their time in addressing the bill, so that they don’t create “bad legislation.”

It’s a bill that has received less attention than other legislation in Congress right now, prompting Jon Stewart to devote the entirety of his Daily Show broadcast on Thursday to talking about the bill — and his frustration that the bill has not been passed. Fox’s Shepard Smith also railed against lawmakers who have slowed down passage of the bill as well on his show on Friday.

5. You got that right!
Those assholes don't care about the people who put their life on the line, they only care about keeping the "big money" that donates to them happy! If this bill is not passed, they need take full responsibility for it not passing, and democrats need to make sure the republicans own it!

7. Couldn't You Dig Up Goldwater and Put Him Back In?
At least Goldwater improved with age, unlike McInsane, and Kyl is just plain vile.
