2. I think this was the point all along.
End DADT for ever.

Don't skirt the issue. Don't use a loop hole.

End it.

I hope he gets credit for doing so.

4. I think Obama's approach, across the board is ...
Gain as much ground as he can, in ways that will be sustainable over time.

On HCR, Financial reform, so on ... lay a foundation on which to build. Get as MUCH as you can in the current political reality, and move on.

I support him in this. Grab as much as he can and solidify it. Them move to the next thing.

10. Thatwas the point and the President said that.
Some DUers and all media outlets said it was the Pres weak, dragging his feet, not really wanting DADT repealed, oh and a homophobe. He wanted substance, they wanted a right now!
