He has made Arlene Spector into a genuinely admirable figure.

From todays' Democratic Senat Caucus meeting

One official said participants at the meeting broke into applause when Sen. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania, who switched parties earlier in the year, said he had made his move to become the 60th vote for health care.

Ironically Spector's move made it possible for Lieberman to put on his disgusting "one-man-prima-donna-fuck-all-of-you" show.

Spector could have stayed in the Republican caucus and grabbed the spotlight and negotiated a deal to change caucuses now for now primary contest.

You have to say that once he made his move he has proved a good soldier.
