He should be able to look happy and carefree for at least a moment. I mean why the heck not. He's POTUS. He's employed. His wife and children are safe. He's not facing foreclosure. He has a great health care plan. He's not worried about how he and his lovely wife will survive on social security and whether or not there will be a cost of living increase. Americans will pay to make sure that he and his family are well provided for all the days of his life and theirs. Darn it. I'd smile too.

The job is stressful, but it has it's perks.

.... one day he's a commie socialist ... the next he's a GOP sell out. Passes some of the most progressive legislation in history and this "base" questions his manhood and accuses him of only trying to help the rich.

He's got reasons to smile. LOL. His family is alive and well. He's come a long way to become President. He's got a heckuva life story. He's healthy. Perhaps you were being sarcastic. I may have missed it. LOL.

I do see people and wonder how they find the strength to smile.

People who lose loved ones before the holidays...people in abusive relationships, or who are suffering from dreadful illnesses.

Then there are those who are used to being independent and providing for their families who have lost their homes and can't find jobs, but are surviving.

I think the President deserves a good Christmas break. I wish so many more could have one. But, the guy has reasons to smile. Now, me personally, with the economy in the tank...I may have quietly sent someone out to get that cool refreshing treat. But, surely the guy deserves a treat every once in awhile.
