Sorry Folk...photographers don't allow...
President Barack Obama headed to the beach to snorkel with friends and family at Hanauma Bay, a favorite destination for the first family during their Hawaiian vacations.

The president's motorcade arrived at the nature preserve late Tuesday morning. The area is closed to the public on Tuesdays, giving the president's party a chance to enjoy the bay in private.

The Obamas spent time at Hanauma Bay last Christmas. The area is popular with snorkelers and is known for its coral reef.

Reporters and photographers following Obama “are under explicit instructions that there will be no long lenses or other sneaky attempts to take pictures”. The Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve is “closed off” for the two hours that the Obamas are there, the pool says.

3. If there is an exciting way to relax, snorkeling is it
It's one of my favorite things to do in summer, although I'm usually limited to fresh water snorkeling because I don't live too close to the ocean. There is nothing like snorkeling in the ocean, though, and I can't imagine how beautiful it must be to snorkel in Hawaii.

5. Lucky man!
Hanauma Bay has some awesome snorkeling. And, they get the place to themselves. Nice! I got to see a sea turtle the day I was there. The sea was rough that day, so the water was a bit murky. I saw this huge thing out of the corner of my eye, and at first, I thought it was a shark. Scared the crap out of me, until I realize this big thing that was now almost in my face was a sea turtle! Cool!
