Sam Seder making fun of Faux for attacking Obama for congratulating the Eagles for giving Vick
Edited on Tue Dec-28-10 08:52 PM by jenmito
a second chance (hiring him) after doing his time. "It must be a slow news day" he said. Michael Eric Dyson was just on Countdown agreeing with Seder that Obama was right for commending the Eagles, pointing out that Obama also condemned Vick's past acts (for which he paid).

If only Seder was aware that so many self-proclaimed liberals are on the same side as Faux on this...

24. What don't they get?
Obama said in effect...good job for taking a chance on an ex-con. That was the end of it. And what is it that is missing? Obama didn't congratulate Vick. Obama didn't say you did good. I'm trying to see where Obama went wrong.

Or somewhat equally!

13. Maybe because it wasn't the SOLE topic of the conversation?
But gee, while we're on the subject with NFL playoffs looming and your team happens to be in contention because you took a chance to hire an ex-convict, it's really not a big shock to figure out why the topic came up.

14. He called to talk about the Eagles' use of alternative energy as well:
"The Eagles announced last month they would run the first self-sufficient alternative-energy sports stadium in the country. They'll install 80 spiral wind turbines to the stadium and mount 2,500 solar panels. Together, those devices will power about 30 percent of the stadium's energy needs. In addition, a biodiesel plant will be built nearby and that alternative energy source will help power (along with natural gas) the remaining 70 percent of the stadium's power needs. In addition, the project to install all the devices will employ 200 people for a year in, obviously, a down economy."

25. He was on the call with said guy about environmental issue.
And said oh and by the way...good job on not permanently ostracizing someone who is an ex-con. I think if it was a small business owner Obama would have done the same thing. If Michael Vick had committed any other crime, apart from murder of humans would he be me with the same push to ostracize. Secondly, how do you know he's unrepentant. How do you make that judgment? Because I'm not in his head, I'm not running around in his close knit ties to know if he's unrepentant. This is like how many people said Kanye West was not repentant over the Taylor Swift thing, while others say yes. It wasn't until he personally spoke out about it...but how can you know for sure. I think we're making judgment calls that are not our place to make.

This is the same thing like many people here still considered Michael Jackson to be a pedophile when all court of laws said he was innocent. But by some here they assumed to know what exactly went on and the facts and even his mind set to have committed the supposed crimes. I think we have to take a step back and look at this without presumptions.

19. Probably. And they're wrong on both counts.
My reality-based world is kind of dull. I keep missing all the good stuff in ImaginaryLand, where the President is "forgiving" people.

That really says it all, doesn't it? The far left meets the far right in an unholy alliance.

Their only regret might be that Vick fed beagles instead of welfare moms to the pitbulls.

Since I'm only a self-proclaimed liberal I'm not as good I realize, but my vote for Obama did count, if I remember right.
