Some of them do, yes, but I think the majority of right wing repukes and teabaggers who idolize Palin in public are only doing this to let the world know what despicable human beings they are trying to attract into their "party." After all, what better way is there to let the country know what you stand for than by associating yourself with a world class asshole like Sarah Palin? I think this is the main reason why teabaggers attach themselves to her at the waist. It's a cheap and easy way to recruit the worst elements that society has to offer.

Sarah Palin is no threat to President Obama's chance of re-election. She is the dummy of all dummies, a world class moron of the highest order and is clearly unelectable. But the Tea Party? Hopefully this movement will fizzle out at the same time Palin does. We don't need this country going backwards into the first half of the 20th century or even earlier. We've come too far for that kind of shit.

RepubliBaggers -- chickenhawk variety and otherwise -- luv them having a goo-goo Poo Flinger to sling the poo for them...

It's part of the core RepubliBagger FEAR & FAIL personality disorder.

2. Gryphen at Immoral Minority had this guestimate of her demographics
for her TLC show that he calls "Sarah Palin sees Alaska for the VERY FIRST TIME":

Noting how rapidly her ratings have dropped he was curious who might be still watching and concludes:
"My instincts tell me that a large number of them are probably people who simply cannot stand Sarah Palin and are watching her reality show/political advertisement in order to prove to themselves that she is a fraud and a ridiculous person.

Then there are the middle aged conservative males who are watching it with their hand in their pants, the teabaggers who believe she is the second coming of Jesus, a handful of nature buffs who are waiting for Sister Sarah to get the hell out of the way so they can see the beautiful scenery, and of course the fans of snuff films who are waiting to see what the Grizzled Mama will kill THIS week."

I think that is about right ;)

3. Interesting take
although I personally don't know of any nature buffs who would ever stoop to watching her show for sake of viewing the scenery. I would rather watch a 10 hour documentary on the demise of the grain crop in China than watch a single second of Palin and her idiot family on her reality show.

Thanks for the link to the article, though

4. my teabagger sister has run away from Palin
I think she finally realized that supporting Palin was low-brow, and my sister is a suburban snob.

5. Would your sister be open to a suggestion from you
that the Tea Party is just as "low-brow" as Palin herself? Just the fact that your sister has decided to run from Palin is a good reason to hold out for hope.

6. The Repuke men think she's hot. The women think she's an outstanding mother
and role model.

The Republican men aren't threatened by her because they like that "dumb blonde" thing. The Republican women look to her as their version of a "feminist."

9. Palin really seems understand how to talk to her base.
If she can figure out how to also reach out to undecided voters, she could be a contender for POTUS. I think her TV show is an attempt to do this.

Palin is dim, but she is clever and is still smarter than many voters.

11. Sarah Palin is the envy and anger of the right wing wrapped up in a charismatic
package. Normally someone who believed in what she believes in and hates what she hates would be considered 'the ugly american'.
