1. It's obvious the oil speculators are at work because the GOP |
will give them a free ride. It's despicable and criminal what Big Oil gets away with.

2. Big Oil wants to stop the greening of America under Obama. |
Energy efficiency is one of the most important economic goals of this country. Bit oil raised gas prices to keep Al Gore from the presidency and they're working hard to stop Obama now.

3. No shit...when the Oil Barrons were in charge, 4.50 a gallon... |
...because there wasn't a damned thing we could do about it. Then, lower the prices before the election, maybe the GOP won't look so bad. Now they want back in, and they think they might actually have a chance, so they'll spike the prices again and Fox News and the GOP will get busy blaming Obama. This isn't even mysterious anymore. They're so blatant about it because Americans are lazy and weak and won't get off their asses to protest or do ANYTHING about it. We'll just keep see-sawing back and forth between Democratic criminals and Republican criminals, all reaming us up the bunger, without ever actually taking to the streets.

4. When Obama took office there was talk about closely regulating |
speculators but I don't think anything ever came of it because of the international nature of commodities trading.
