Obama the Comeback Kid?

In an amusing sketch, Jon Stewart ridicules the media's notion that President Obama's presidency was essentially dead, followed by their declaration that Obama came back from the dead by having a productive lame-duck session.

"You were the only ones who said he was dead. You know, the media is like the world's worst paramedics: They declare people dead when they're napping. So of course, waking up must be a miracle."

"Obama is not the comeback kid. That's just a trite way of looking at it. He's Luke Skywalker."

And he overthrew the government, and attempted to murder its leader (Emperor Sidious).

Its leader had come into power similarly to Hitler, through intimidation and misinformation, and outright lies.

I don't agree that clones shouldn't have class protections, but that's how it was. :(

But I'm sure there was a residency in there for their wives and babies. Collateral damage? Those who say yes are the first ones who wanted Timothy McVeigh executed, proving that one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.

As for the Hitler comparison, to my knowledge Darth Sidious (a/k/a Emperor Palpatine) didn't kill anyone for their race or religion. Does mean he was a good person, but I believe Hitler was a lot worse.

...it was unlikely. Yes there were likely upper echelon military on board the base, however, given that they were being led by an undemocratically elected tyrant who had many assassination attempts, they were certainly as disposable as those who were with Hitler at the various assassination attempts.

Emperor Palpatine killed a whole planet under his leadership, billions of people. He made Hitler look like a sweetheart.
