Boehner Will Be a Failure

I think boner knows he will be compared to Pelosi and will be gravely lacking; he just wants someone else to share the blame.

Boehner Will Be a Failure

by BooMan
Tue Jan 4th, 2011 at 01:47:07 PM EST

He's not even Speaker yet and Boehner is already shirking work off on others.

When John Boehner takes over one of the most powerful jobs in Washington this week, he says his first order of business is to make himself less powerful.

In vowing to share power as House speaker, Boehner is promising a package of rule changes to decentralize control and give minority party members more say.

On Wednesday the new speaker of the House of Representatives plans to offer a package of rule changes that, he says, will give minority-party members more of a say and decentralize power.

I think he just wants to get his drink on before 8 o'clock.

4. I absolutely agree. He will not be able to withstand the criticism like Nancy did.
He doesn't have the charisma nor the intelligence for the job. Plain and simply.

11. Problem is he won't GET the criticism like Nancy did
He will get pretty much of a free pass from our liberal media.

They will ignore, laugh off, or excuse every drunken outburst, parliamentary screwup and crying jag.

7. If he's as much of an alky as he comes across now -- he'll get his drink on at lunch
And be toting a flask for the rest of the day.

Chronic alcoholism doesn't have a timetable. They keep a certain level of booze in their bloodstream at all times.

8. By all accounts he is a heavy boozer so he would not be able to stand up to pressure.
I'm sure he knows that and that is the reason he's "decentralizing". He really wouldn't be able to handle the rough and tumble and would be in tears every day.

10. He will be controlled by the far right wing of the party. He has to follow the teabaggers' orders.
The reading of the Constitution is the first stunt that he will carry out to follow their program. The debt limit increase denial will be his 2nd stunt and will seriously hurt the world bond and stock markets.

14. Yes! I can see a 64 democratic seat gain in House in 2012
What more proof would you want that Boehner has failed miserably?

19. Virtually impossible with the 2010 census redistricting
At most, 5-10 gains at most, but at this point I see a loss of a few more seats, with no chance to retake it until 2020.

18. Naturally
The BOehner GOLFS 100 days a year. This job will be "work," which is a four-letter word to him. He is an alcohol soaked party boy. No wonder he's crying all the time. This is going to cut into his massive and cushy social life.
