Boehner: "I"m horrified by the sensless attack . . ."
Edited on Sat Jan-08-11 03:56 PM by Phx_Dem
A day late a dollar short asshole. You should have been horrified when Palin posted a hit list with a bulls-eye on faces of elected members of Congress and posted "We've diagnosed the problem . . . Help us identify the solution."

Or perhaps when Bachman called for "armed and dangerous" opposition to cap-and trade, or maybe when Steve King called for a goverment overthrow. It's too fucking late to be "horrified" Boner.

Boner - "I am horrified by the senseless attack on Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and members of her staff. An attack on one who serves is an attack on all who serve. Acts and threats of violence against public officials have no place in our society. Our prayers are with Congresswoman Giffords, her staff, all who were injured, and their families. This is a sad day for our country."

Michelle Bachman - "I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous on this issue of the energy tax because we need to fight back. Thomas Jefferson told us, “Having a revolution every now and then is a good thing,” and the people – we the people – are going to have to fight back hard if we’re not going to lose our country. And I think this has the potential of changing the dynamic of freedom forever in the United States."

Michelle Bachman - This past Wednesday (2009), Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) appeared on Sean Hannity’s radio show, and sharply reiterated her calls for revolution in America, warning against the imminent dangers of tyranny under Barack Obama:

http://www.jackandjillpolitics.com/2009/03/michelle-bachmann-treason-against-the-united-states/

Steve King - According to the Huffington Post, “King declared that a peaceful uprising, a la the successful overthrowing of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia on the streets of Prague in 1989 "would be fine with me,"

From the same article - "Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.”

Although King, Palin and Bachmann have every right to disagree with the passage of health care reform, even the hint of overthrowing the United States government because of it, begs the questions - why would they even suggest such a thing? And what will we end up with if no one stops them?"

27. I want him to be scared.
In constant fear for his life, see how much HE likes it.

That Boner is from my home state infuriates me.

2. We need to take their past rhetoric
and shove it down their throats.

Fax, email, phone, write - make them feel the weight of their words and the deeds that are done because of THEM.

6. Olberman and O'Donnell both did segments about the violence talk.
They'll be all over it, as will Rachel, Ed and probably every other responsible journalist (that might exclude CNN).

14. Okay, so far we've heard remarks from President Obama, Director Napolitano
and Boner (barf) and even the leader of the Republican Terrorist group, Sarah Palin.

But we have yet to hear from the Governor of Arizona, which is not surprising. She's an incompetent and mindless droid whom I'm not even sure is human. Still, you'd think someone would have released remarks on her behalf.

16. Gov. Brewer speaks . . badly. "Tragedies happen . . ."
Yes they do, but this wasn't a "tragedy," in the sense that it was unavoidable or accidental. It was premeditated murder you ignorant bitch.

20. How does it help to put the word "Killing" in a bill, Boehner?
"Repealing The Job-Killing Health Care Law Act..." How did that help to ratchet down the violence?

At what point does the blood not wash off your hands? I put that question to Boehner and Roger Ailes and all the rest of them at Fox Noose.

I think they do what they want to and the repubs harness their anger for elections but the crazies really don't take their marching orders from elected officials.
