A sampling of the Arizona shooting suspect's social-media postings

December 15, 2010:

The majority of people, who reside in District-8 are illiterate - hilarious. I don't control your English grammar structure, but you control your English grammar structure.

14. Unabomber Ted Kaczynski's manifesto was 1000 times more political
Edited on Sun Jan-09-11 03:49 AM by golfguru
than this nutbag Jared Loughner. Wonder who instigated him to
murder people.

16. That completely misses the point
No one was trying to claim that the Unabomber was apolitical, and he didn't shoot a member of Congress.

The OP doesn't make any mention of instigation. It's simply an observation.

20. In the context of the OP,
shouldn't the question be: Do you consider Unabomber Ted Kaczynski a right winger apolitical?

Answer, no I don't.

17. So true
And why go to a political "greet and meet," ask to speak to a politician (Ms. Giffords), told to get back in line by one of the attendants, and then proceed to shoot up the place, making sure one of your victims is a politician. Heck, if he just wanted to kill for the sake of good old-fashioned killing, why not go to a Home Depot, university/school, post office, fast-food establishment, or rooftop of a building. You know...the usual places. Why go to a political event to unleash your murderous demons?

It's both amazing (but not unexpected) and insulting what the so-called "mainstream media" wants us to believe. Looks like America has it's own version of "untouchables," and they are republicans/conservatives.

18. Just want to say too...
That if anybody is offended by my screen name, understand it has nothing to do with yesterday's tragic and deadly events. Most readers of African-American literature will know from whence the name originates. I'm certainly not trying to be insensitive.

21. Interesting point
It would definitely indicate political awareness to some degree. I never hear people that are not political refer to geographical areas by congressional district.

Good catch.
