1. I hope not
but I don't know how anything is going to get through the House. The best that we could probably hope for is do something with ENDA (a lot of businesses have actually taken the lead on promoting anti-discrimination policies in the workplace) but I don't know if there would be enough Republican teabaggers in the House whom would be willing to support it (or anything else). I quite doubt it, unfortunately. Thankfully, DADT repeal went through in a squeaker last session or that too would be on hold as well. I think that concentrating on a state-by-state organizing effort might ultimately be more productive.

3. Our movement forward had nothing to do with Congress
At best, the possible, eventual, if all the stars line up and everyone relents, repeal of DADT can be credited in part to Congress.

The change of Congressional control means no difference to our movement forward, such as it is.

8. We have no movement in legislation.
Even with the most gay-positive Congress ever we couldn't get ENDA, or marriage equality, and have a President who doesn't want to push for either. If anything, the current government is impeding advancement by appealing pro-gay decisions.

The change in Congress means nothing to gays. We weren't going to get anything legislatively with a gay-friendly Congress, so we aren't missing out on anything with an anti-gay Congress.

9. I disagree.
Just because there is no legislation at the moment does not mean that legislation can be put before the house. But then again now we have to worry about legislation unfriendly to us, even though we have a Democratic President and a slim majority in the senate that does not mean life will be kind to us. Politics is like a game of chess.

13. And you would be right. Anyone remember hate crimes leg? DADT?
And ENDA could have been gotten through post filibuster reform.

6. In Congress, absolutely.
State legislatures will be case-by-case.

10. What else is there left to do on the federal level besides a DOMA repeal?
That may soon be repealed. But something like a federal law making gay marriage legal in all 50 states would not pass even in the last Congress. The best bet for that is state by state.
