1. The only reason Obama is dropping in the polls is...
the M$M is doing everything they can to bring him down. Then there are those who thought as soon as Obama was President it would be like crossing to the other side of the rainbow.

Too much of America is about instant gratification. I call it the Me now generation.

2. I call it the Me Me Me generation for those over 45
It's really just how the person feels it should happen for him/her.

We have lost the sense of community spirit in America IMO.

For the young voters, they think their parents are from the stone age, most of their parents still use their cell phones to talk on and not text.

They have friends of all races, all over the globe with facebook etc.

I'm African American and my cousin is 35 years, he has so many friends all over the world that want him to come to visit and they share political views as well.

Have not heard about them sitting in or marching accept at UCLA when the budget was cut, not that got their attention as it well should have ---

Anyone over 50 is still stuck on " It's Black or White" and these young people are ahead of us in a beautiful way.

For politics in the feature, I don't think it will ever be the same.

Sorry. But the over 50 people did more than you can think about.
Not sure where your attitude is coming from. I'm from the generation that never trusted anybody over 30.If you want to argue ""Black AND/OR White""
Let's GO!!!!

10. Very Interesting poll numbers on the South
25% Approval -- Considering the percentage of African American voters in the South and their strong support of Obama, I think you'd be hard pressed to find too many white southerners who approve of him. Just a coincidence?

And to all you white, southern DU'ers -- God love you for putting up with your neighbors!

19. lol, it's not as bad as it seems....
... at least based on my informal Obama bumper-sticker polling. I went to Target last week and there were four OTHER Obama-tagged cars just in my lane.

But I DO live in an urban area, that probably makes a difference.

22. My neighbors on both sides are Democrats
Hard to believe in this town. Most others around here make me want to get the hell out of here as soon as possible. I know one who is shocked, just shocked that President Obama is sending her recently-enlisted son to Afghanistan. Had she (or her son) paid attention for the past year and a half, they would know that he would be sent there if he enlisted. Had they gotten their wish and McCain was elected, her son would be in Iran now. They just don't get it.

6. Yep and the OTHER factor...
..... is the "folks," those living pay check to pay check KNOW that the President and the Democratic party are the ones looking out for their best interest ... not the GOP.

I have a game I like to play while I'm driving around town. I count Obama/McCain bumper stickers .... you NEVER see an Obama bumper sticker on a new, shiny SUV. And you NEVER see a McCain sticker (and since this is the south, folks still haven't removed them) on a clunker.

It's very telling.

23. To be fair...
Perhaps some of those who might want to put an Obama sticker on their new, expensive vehicle are afraid to do so out of fear that it will be vandalized. That is the reason I never put political bumper stickers on my car. Too many crazy, hateful wing nuts in these parts. I don't want my car keyed or my tires slashed.

15. Remember how the Ass suspended campaigning
for the emergency meeting he called for at the White House, and once there had absolutely NOTHING to say? If people don't remember specifics, I agree that the bad taste of McCain/Failin does indeed comes to mind.

Can't stand his views, but the teabaggers are certainly to his right.
