I think Obama is the best public speaker of our generation.
I also think, of all the Presidents I've heard, he's by far the best orator.

His speeches will be remembered for a very long time.

Amazing job.

I cannot imagine any American who would have given a better, more appropriate speech.

We are very lucky to have him as our President.

6. I agree, he is inspirational
that is, the man behind the speech seems to be able to grasp and put into words the context of events and to project forward the best sense of their meanings,in the most useful way...its a rare skill. Not always applicable to the daily grind of politics, but beautiful to hear as in this evenings speech.

7. I agree with you
But I also think Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton and Jesse Jackson are pretty high up on that list as well. I had the rare opportunity as an undergraduate in the mid 90's to hear Jackson and Clinton speak in person. In Sept of 2007 I went to an Obama rally. Never got a chance to see Kennedy speak in person though.
