3. I just heard them on CNN talking about it. |
|
How Gabby opened her eyes and when asked by her husband if she could see them to give a sign....and she raised her hand. They were all in awe.

So soon after being shot only days ago. The doctors should be proud of their work. I will eat my own words when I said I was skeptical that Giffords would recover.

10. I am truly surprised too. |
|
She must be incredibly lucky or incredibly strong. Either way, it's good news to hear she is responding so well.

6. Debbie almost started crying talking about Gabby on Meet The Press Sunday... |
|
.... I know Debbie stays in a house with two other Reps while in DC. I've seen an article about how it was like a bachelorette pad (even though they're married.) Wonder if Gabby is one of them?

13. Yes. And give a special nod to Nancy... |
|
Gabby was one of only 19 Democrats who voted against Pelosi for Minority Leader, Nancy's ego does not eclipse her humanity. She was there for Gabby, alongside Gabby's family and closest friends, and it was genuine.

14. I'm of the opinion that |
|
the vote against Nancy Pelosi was more of a symbolic vote FOR her fellow Arizonian that AGAINST Nancy. It was not a case in which the vote was ever going to go in Nancy's favor in any case, so it was safe to cast the vote the way she did.
If the Democrats were still in the majority, I cannot think that she would have voted against Nancy.

Or at least I douby she would have ever let her vote deprive Nancy of winning. But I'm not holding it against Gabby, I'm just giving a thumbs up to Nancy on this.
