On Cavuto's Fox news show, Ben Stein says healthcare law a choice of "freedom against dictatorship"
I was flicking through the channels and saw Cavuto's show for a couple minutes and they were talking about the Republicans trying to stop "Obamacare". One lone person on the panel said it was going nowhere. Of course, his backdrop was San Francisco.

Ben Stein interrupted him constantly and then fumed about how it was basically a war of choice between "freedom against dictatorship". He then continued that thousands of Americans will be arrested with their doctors and "taken away".

Cavuto, smirking with joy, finished up the commentary suggesting that more Americans "need to wake up".

Finally, we can see how much improvement political dialogue has been made a week after the Tucson shootings.

1. Clear Eyes. It removes redness, and also has an ingredient to moisturize.
Wow.

Fuck Ben Stein.

There is nothing surprising there. It's Fox. It's a sophisticated propaganda machine churning out its spew. You know it and I know it.
The poor clueless viewers on Fox lap it up. Do not waste your cortisol or your electricity on this drivel.

I took Fox off my remote 20 years ago. It feels so much better.

5. Someone should call Stein's bluff
Ask him whether, if the health care bill isn't repealed, he will take up arms against the government rather than live under a "dictatorship."

7. I'd bet the jar of pennies on my kitchen counter that old Ben
is raking in the loot from health insurance company stocks and hasn't a clue WTF he's talking about.

Oh, please free me from the dictatorship of being able to keep our kids on our insurance until they're 26 years old!

Oh, please free me from the dictatorship of insurance companies not being able to deny me and my family coverage due to "pre-existing" conditions!

Oh, please free me from the dictatorship of insurance companies having to make sure that they use more of the $$$$ we give them towards actual PATIENT CARE instead of overhead and who knows what-the-hell-else!

etc., etc..................................................

:sarcasm:

Only in America would people actually feel "victimized" by the government FINALLY stepping in and putting an end to private insurance companies doing things that should've NEVER been allowed to happen in the first place! All this while in places like Canada, Britain, France, people are getting better care at less cost. How can elements of our society be so smart yet dumb? And, as for any right-wing kooks living in Canada, Britain, France, et. al that have some kind gripe with their health care, I'll gladly trade my private Anthem high-deductible health insurance for their "socialized medicine."
:wtf: :banghead:

12. He's been making the rounds with very Right Wing opinions lately.
Saw him the other night talking about how we need to increase defense spending.

Looks like he is farming for some GOP street cred. Probably going to run for office.
