Santorum On Obama & Abortion-'Almost Remarkable For A Black Man' To Say We Can Decide Who's A Person
Edited on Thu Jan-20-11 01:46 PM by jenmito
Potential 2012 presidential candidate and former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) doesn't understand how President Obama could not answer whether a "human life" is protected by the Constitution from the moment of conception: "The question is -- and this is what Barack Obama didn't want to answer -- is that human life a person under the Constitution? And Barack Obama says no. Well if that person -- human life is not a person, then -- I find it almost remarkable for a black man to say, 'we're going to decide who are people and who are not people.'

UNBELIEVABLE! (This was just reported on MSNBC. They played video of Santorum saying this in a CNS interview.) Video at link.

4. What gives Santorum, a white man, the right to question Obama's response "as a black man"?
I find damn remarkable (not almost) that Santorum thinks it is appropriate for him to question Obama's "blackness."

5. Well, to be a person, one has to have a working brain -- unlike a fetus until after about 22 weeks.
On the other hand, since a working brain is the necessity, I have doubts about Santorum's personhood. ;-)

10. No way, as a native Pennsylvanian, I take no blame for Ricky S. Let the people who actually voted
for him be embarrassed. Not me. Never.

9. That was decided by the Supreme Court, you fucking moron.
In the Constitution a "person" is defined as "someone who has been born". That doesn't apply to embryos or fetuses.

God, he's just a total douchebag.
