He has shown himself to be a skillfull chicago politician whose language deceives all but folks like us here. I consider him dangerously electable again.

many Americans incorrectly believe we are now in a recovery. When the future is worse than it was back in 2008, and that day will come before his re-election, his approval ratings will look like George Bush gone mad.

Why have his numbers improved? What good has he done?

Young voters, in particular, will see Obama as a politician who promised big and delivered little. Many of them will remain alienated from electoral politics for many years to come.

36. If you look through postings pre 08 here on DU you will

find so many ranting about the sensibility and truthfulness that FDL is during a dark time. Now any link to that site is slandered and dismissed with vehemence.

FDL has not changed. FDL still picks apart policy set by our politicians and looks to predict based on those policy decisions already set by todays politicians. The only thing that changed was the party in control of the WH.

I still find FDL to be a good opinion based website. Then again I look at policy and the effects it has on the people, not what letter follows a politicians name when it comes to deciding if that politician is following a path I approve of.
