Did I really hear him just bash helping GM because of it's growth in the China market, when it doesn't even sell those cars over here. GM is adding a third shift, 650 jobs to a plant in Flint, thats in addition to the thousands of US jobs they've already brought back and line workers are going get their biggest profit sharing checks in decade. Why no mention that? Dumabass

so GM makes a car or parts of a car in China (say for $10). Then GM China sells that part to Detroit for $90. Then The part gets sold in the US for $100. $90 is tax free, oh but wait, it's all GM. plus the fact that making that $90, they don't have to conform to any laws or regulations. Without a Tarrif Trade system, you are just being strung along.....here's a crumb......another crumb.......crumb........

instead of a measily (and Im betting on very measily) dividend, wouldn't you like a raise? maybe a full 40 hrs? you full line of benefits back? all the concessions you've given up over the last 30+ years. Enjoy that measily dividend. The bottom line is that most of the profit is offshore, tax free (and probably dividend free). Oh and look out for the massive wave of chinese cars to hit the US market next year. gotta love that free trade!

It's a story that is on bloomberg.com and other news sites.

But I don't see why anyone would think that's a bad thing. A company sells cars where it can.
