3. Johnson & Johnson, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Bayer, Becton, Novardis
and many others are headquartered in central New Jersey. Johnson & Johnson national hdq is right across the street from Rutgers University in New Brunswick.

4. Yes, but how many Dems will vote for Lautenberg's amendment and against Dorgan's.
That's the question, and I think we know the answer. As Molly Ivins might say, the Dems too often 'dance with the ones that brung 'em' and that's the lobbyists who fill their campaign coffers in our rotten campaign finance system--made possible by our refusal to actively participate in the political process.

6. Surprise, surprise! Brownback supports the Lautenberg amendment. I'm with McCain's position on this
McCain's a co-sponsor of the Dorgan bill.

7. psst..
Just for the record, Senator Obama was a cosponser of the very bill he now opposes to now that he cut a deal with PhRMA.

8. Yes, I know. Dorgan himself pointed it out this morning on C-Span, as well.
