So the political wing of the Tea Party Terrorists need three attempts to respond to the SOTU address by President Obama,

This is foot stompingly good.

1. That's Rand Paul putting HIMSELF front and center. Egos abound in Washington. nt

2. Laugh all you want, but Rand will likely be our President in 2016
The Tea Party will be strong in 2012, but barely lose to an establishment hack like Romney. Obama will cruise to re-election, with many Tea Baggers either sitting out or voting third party.

As far as 2016 goes, they will get their own man that year, and be very strong. It's also unlikely these days that either party holds onto power for more than 8 years, so I fully expect a shift that year.

3. I don't think Obama will be re-elected....
People sre tired of voteing for the "lesser of two evils". With the state of the economy there is no reason to vote this way anymore.

4. A viable third candidate
will not be on the ballot, so the voters will have to pick between the republican candidate and President Obama, or just sit this one out. President Obama wins a second term easy, probably by a larger margin than 2008.

5. The TEA party will be a note in the history books
by 2016. Already the signs are mostly gone from my neighborhood. There were fortunately never very many, but the few overworked displays of faux patriotism have disappeared.

6. All the Teabag Party 'leaders' stick their foot in their mouths in public
Every last one of them had to limit their interviews to FOX News because they tripped so badly when they were interviewed by people like Rachel Maddow. It makes you realize how thoroughly they're coached and prepared for their 'interviews' by FOX.
