since Joe has made it clear that the only thing he really wants is to spite Liberals (see comments re: Rep. Wiener) , maybe Dean (and Markos and Arianna) are publicly saying "kill the bill" like the Republicans want and start all over because if they say they can live with it or even like it, Joe will find another excuse to blow it up and there REALLY won't be anything worthwhile in it...

2. I don't know what to believe.

I see people here superimposing their bias from all sides - those that wish the bill better than reported, those that wish it worse.

My sympathies are with the members of congress who really want to do something to stop the insurance company ripoff, and are battling uphill against people on the left, right and middle - and tons of money from the insurance companies.

I am sitting on tender hooks hoping that somehow a reasonable path can be charted through waters infested with sharks.
