Pundits who are saying we shouldn't make this about LIEberman have a point -
We should make it about all the people that will die because they DON'T have healthcare.
And that we are giving Lieberman what he wants - attention.

Fuck him. And fuck everyone that makes him an important part of this debate.
He spoke at the Republican convention for crissakes. He is not worth all this attention.

I am sooooo mad :banghead: :banghead:

1. We warned them about Lieberman
we warned them about trusting him and this is exactly what we warned them about.

The Dems are either naive or stupid and I am leaning toward the latter. Liebrman is an egotisitical bastard and it's about him sticking a knife in the liberals back it's not about saving American lives.

5. Why are they making excuses for his actions
So what if he voted for the stimulus? This bill impacts a huge number of Americans where the stimulus impacted the already rich banks who had bad business practices and should have been allowed to fail.

2. We should make it about the fact that we don't have a democracy
We should be holding "Pro Democracy" rallies in Washington, not health care rallies.

Let them send in the tanks.

7. You could make it about both, in one sentence
"Joe Lieberman doesn't care people will die because of him; he's too concerned about insurance company profits".

12. I was listening to Hartmann today and he was discussing this - and
I forgot who he was talking to - but they were saying if Reid had the backing of the Whitehouse he probably would do it.

10. Hells, I'm happier *without healthcare* than I would be with mandated private insurance.
Pull the mandated giveaway to the HMOs, and the rest of the bill is tolerable...

14. yeah, get rid of that... and I'm willing to tolerate a "reform" that helps others...
but does nothing for me.

Throw in the mandate... and I am an unhappy camper. Very unhappy.

13. It's not about Lieberman. Barack Obama is 95% responsible for this mess.
And that makes me very sad.
