Can someone explain why this bill allows the Insurance Companies to keep the Anti-Trust exemption? |
|
It makes no sense to me but maybe there is a good reason.

insurance companies. Face it, he's representing his constituents, is my view. And I'm not talking just the companies. Many of the citizens work for them or have them for customers. It's like Biden and the credit card companies in Delaware.
If there were 60 Dems and LIEberman it would be there. But there are 58, Sanders and LIEberman.
My question is can't Sanders do the same as LIEberman and make demands? They need him too.

7. That was my understanding |

and I'm not sure it is possible to produce comprehensive legislation on any issue with the current make up of Congress. Healthcare, energy, campaign finance reform, re-regulation of financial centers, and it goes on and on, will always have a handful that will hijack the process and water it down to close to nothing and there is precious little leverage to hold them in line.
If we want change then we'll have to stack the deck with liberals otherwise the options are minor readjustments or empower the Confederates to run the country into a ditch at about a thousand miles per hour as they have demonstrated over the last generation. That's reality...suck it or ignore it.
