5. I think they actually have 25%
of the 25% that they need, or 6-7%. At least that's the way it sounded to me. Still pretty good for just starting though!

13. Correct my friend! 25% of the needed signatures in just a week.
It appears Gov. Walker may be wacking his own majority. Recall three Wisconsin State Senators and the Democrats get control back.

So as is mentioned in the article, Wisconsin is only a swing state when voters don't show up.

One of the comments (Mario Pasadena, CA) said :

"Nate, you may want to check on the margins of victory of the Republicans and Democrats who are eligible for recall.

Of the 8 Republicans, 4 won by less than 55% and 3 by less that 51% iirc. Of the 8 Democrats, only 1 won by less than 66%.

That means the Republicans being recalled are in a whole heap more danger than the Dems."

I haven't confirmed that, but if it's true, the Republicans could be in for a very rude awakening because, apparently only 4 net seats need to turn blue for the Republicans to lose the majority.

PLEASE OH PLEASE LET THIS HAPPEN!

14. I hope so
But what is the process for replacing them? If it's done by county commissioners, then they could just put another Puke in there.

16. It's an election...
if I'm not mistaken, they have an election to remove the individual, then another to replace him/her after removal.

It's a process not made easy, as it should be, otherwise, it would be done on a routine basis by either parts supporters. In this case though, it appears to be a "given"; the R's believed thy had a "mandate", and it blew up in their faces. Classic overreach that this time, galvanized the electorate.

27. I cannot say impirically that the election was fixed...
I'm certainly not willing to rule that out.

I do think it would be highly improbable that Walker or those with recalls now in the works would be re-elected.

20. heck I would think that simply passing the petition around the grounds
of the capital should be pretty close to enough signatures! I know some are out of state people but there still has to be a lot of natives who would be able to sign.

22. Well, for the GOP state senators
the signatures have to all be from that senator's district, if I'm not mistaken. Can't just get any signature from any Wisconsin resident.

recall of Snotty Walker...ANY Wisconsinite can sign that...
