gee, it sounds somehow wrong when I simplify the issue down to its core meaning, doesn't it?

1. I just can't bend my mind around how something like annual caps
works its way back in. That one is pretty clear. That specific practice is what drives Amercians into bankruptcy in short order. That kind of practice, along with stuff like forbidding drug negotiation or importation lets you know for certain that they are NOT on the sides of the American citizen.

Now, once that fact has been made explicitly clear to you, what use do you make of that knowledge?

4. It's easy to make simple things sound wrong.
You're either with me or against me. See how easy that is?

7. I'm not sure how you are defining betrayal here.
Do you mean passing this bill is a betrayal of HCR or not passing it is a betrayal of HCR?

12. Words like "betrayal" make me think of soap operas
Politics is the art of compromise. Why were you promised anything more than other Americans, even the right wingers? You'd think it involved personal relationships rather than social or political ones.

16. "Politics is the art of compromise"
I can accept "compromise".
In a compromise, each side gives up something, each side gets something.

What we are witnessing is complete and total "Capitulation".
You are pretty bold to call this a "compromise".

Compromise would have been a robust Public Option "like Medicare" available to any American who wants it.

19. I doubt it. if you check a right winger's opinion
You'll see the same claim.

In spite of all the drama here, the insurance companies are probably seeing it the same way.

15. really? Am I being dramatic in my distillation of the argument?
or am I being accurate?

we are being told that we must accept a betrayal of Health Care reform in order to pass Health Care Reform.

do you have a refutation, or just snark?
