1. Those guys are children of the working class. |

Time to welcome them home to their roots. The scales are falling from a lot of eyes in this state right now.

It does not become a Democratic thing - but rather an anti-Republican thing.

I totally agree. This has to be a real grass roots uprising, from the people! The right has already tried to put the president into this mess by saying he is doing what "HIS UNION BOSS WANT" him to do. By staying out of it they won't be able to make that stick. The people of Wisconsin are doing a great job, let them finish the job by taking down those who are trying to take away their state!

last night.
But ultimately they're not Democrats or Republicans--they're workers and union members who are under attack.

Will they follow up their protest with votes to recall the GOP scum and then support Dems in future elections?
In short, will they act so as to no longer get what they no longer deserve?

Republican rank and file are pissed at their own party right now -and at the tea-baggers in office. We need to give this time to sink into their brains and stew for a while.
If Obama showed up and tied his image to the protester's side, it would turn these folks off.

Republicans in the past hid their tax cuts for the rich by deficit spending. By insisting on no deficits they are forcing the GOP to cut programs, salaries and to hurt people.
Really for once in our lifetimes people's houses are getting bombed in the class war. The battle has come so close to their homes it is waking them up.

Tax cuts without consequences are a no-brainer, but when they turn into laid off teachers and cops, poor people kicked off Medicare, etc. it's a whole different story.

Unequivocally take the side of labor and unions. Explain to the people what the alternative is -- working for $2 an hour. That's where we're headed. But we don't have leaders like that. So we're screwed. Obama is cowering in the WH, holding a conference on bullying and intimidation, and worrying about his reelection. LOL.
