5. Just wait till the Republicans nominate some deeply flawed buffoon
I think there's a good chance we're headed for an Obama landslide, with long coattails, in 2012.

8. If I got a poll call like that - I would say I DISAPPROVE of the job Obama is doing
he looks out for the rich, big business, is STILL in 2 wars, did not even try to get us a public option for health care. i can't believe some of you still think Obama is doing a good job as president. I do not think he is. Tax cuts for billionaires - signed into law by Obama. indefinite detention in Gitmo despite campaign promises - you betcha!

I mean seriously, only up against the most batshit crazy republican does Obama even look remotely good. he gives great speeches - with very little substance or action. i can't wait to vote against him in the 2012 Dem primary.

Krugman: Obama has embraced conservative worldview

Under Obama, Better to Commit a War Crime Than Expose One
by Medea Benjamin and Charles Davis
Bradley Manning is accused of humiliating the political establishment by revealing the complicity of top U.S. officials in carrying out and covering up war crimes. In return for his act of conscience, the U.S. government is holding him in abusive solitary confinement, humiliating him and trying to keep him behind bars for life.

16. I'm not surprised. Yet you must've forgotten that he
ended DADT, stopped enforcing DOMA, gave tax cuts to the REST of us by HAVING to also give tax cuts for the rich (since the Conservadems joined Repubs. in not allowing tax cuts for "only" the bottom 98% of us. He also signed an executive order to close Gitmo (but again, the Dems. wimped out and sided AGAINST it). He has, in 2 years, kept 134 promises and broke 39: http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/obameter

15. The average person is probably not as politically interested as
Edited on Sat Mar-12-11 04:39 PM by Cal33
those of us who take part in political debate forums. Most of them will
simply vote the way they have always voted -- regardless. That's also the
way they reply to poll-takers.

Individual and combined results.

All said, a pretty level consistent picture there for months and months.

21. Actually, popularity reflects results. Obama is ahead of Clinton & Reagan at this point in time.
Good thing facts are more important than empty rhetoric.
