I wish O would have a very brief news conference today |
|

I know, it's Sunday....no Prez nor VP events.
But, people are watching this tragedy in Japan non-stop and they care about it. People there are begging for help.
At noon on Friday, O said there was an aircraft carrier there and another on it's way.
Why couldn't he take just 10 minutes today and brief the US citizens on the status of our assistance?
just sayin....wish he would call attention to the good things we do more often.

10. Well...It's Baffling To Me As Well... |

He is brilliant and an outstanding speaker. He proved this during the campaign. Why is either unable or unwilling to have "fireside chats" to keep the people informed and motivated is beyond me.

3. Or people could pick a newspaper and read about the |
|
status of our assistance. Or turn on the TV for those who don't know how to read.

6. sorry...you are missing my point.... If an ally |
|
of the US is in a horrible situation why not get out there and talk about it?
I mean, hell, if this isn't a time for a prez to talk to the people, when is?
I just worry that he got too spooked when he was criticized in the past for being too visible.

9. because the press would ask him about the NFL lockout.. |
|
.... and other BS like that.
HE may be trying to get a message out, but too many in the press are trying to sell soap ... which they do by grabbing sensational headlines.
I prefer his one on one interviews. The traditional press briefing has ceased to be an effective tool.
