I agree we need a word to describe pre-trial torture, but we dont want to be inflammator.
How about describing Mnning's legal situation torture as "Enhanced Pre-Trial Detention" (EPTD)?
I think the word "detention" is paricularly good because it hints that the "detainee" is a terrorist who should not have any legal rights.
And we know from Fox news "debates" that detainees deserve torture because they know where the secret nuclear suticase bomb is hidden that will soon blow up millions of innocent Americans just going about their business.
