A lot of people don't like her because she commits the heretical sin of criticizes President Obama and the Democrats as well as the GOP.

That's an unfair knock on her, because I think her personal politics are basically very progressive and -- like Obama, actually -- she believes that it's important to go beyond the straitjacket of ideology labels.

Unfortunately, I also think she jumped the shark by merging with AOL. I suspect the thought of gaining more money and power blinded her to the implications (and hypocracy) of such a move.

But that kind of double standard is not limited to her. A lot of people who do crappy things in business give to and support liberal politics and worthy causes.
