3. Leading It? WTF?

The French say "we're kicking this thing off ASAP" and start flying strike missions within hours, but it's WE who are leading this? Really? Really? I'm watching France24 and Euronews France and they're pretty sure the only two countries with planes over Libya right now are Libya and France (and not so much Libya anymore). Canada says they won't be ready for two more days and Britain is still trying to figure out which squadrons to send, and last I heard the US was still sticking to cruise missiles and support roles. But of course WE are leading it.

Methinks we're full of our own shit here. We came late to the party and are still looking for our seat and the show's already started, but of course WE are still the most important guests, just over at the table by the kitchen. How could it be otherwise?
