Bachmann launches the crazy train - will form exploratory committee in June, possibly earlier

Michele Bachmann to form exploratory committee in June, possibly earlier
By: CNN Political Producer Shannon Travis

Washington (CNN) – CNN has exclusively learned that Rep. Michele Bachmann will form a presidential exploratory committee. The Minnesota Republican plans to file papers for the committee in early June, with an announcement likely around that same time.

But a source close to the congresswoman said that Bachmann could form the exploratory committee even earlier than June so that she could participate in early Republican presidential debates.

"She's been telling everyone early summer," the source told CNN regarding Bachmann's planned June filing and announcement. But the source said that nothing is static.

"If you come to us and say, 'To be in our debates, you have to have an exploratory committee,' then we'll say, 'Okay, fine...I'll go file the forms.'"

22. Actually if she wins the nomination
I guess technically she can run for President and Congress at the same time depending on state law (Lieberman ran for VP and Senator at the same time) but I doubt she would do that.

3. With Palin backing out, she's just about the only fun left
And the pressures will make the crazy come out big time. She's really, really stupid too. And delusional. Come to think of it, she will likely be as fun as Palin would have been.

Explore your heart out, shit for brains.

25. Well, you seem to be making the assumption that we actually still have elections
I know it could look like that to the untrained eye, but if you look close, you realize it's been a ruse since 2000, so whoever has been deemed chosen, will win, no matter what. So, as Clayton Williams of Texas so infamously said, you might as well lie back and enjoy it.

28. Oh I don't know. With Newtie, Chuckles, Romney et al.
There is still plenty of opportunity for fun.

A would agree that a Pawlenty/Barbour ticket would be a real downer, entertainment wise, though. Unless someone comes up with a pic of Barbour in a white robe sans hood.

4. Her dead forehead makes me wonder what she looked like before botox
It's a shallow thought and I admit it, but I think I shall look for some Bachmann pictures when she could show surprise or annoyance.

6. And now that I've seen pre botox pictures, you know who bears a striking resemblance
to her earlier, non mask look? Courtney Cox. Maybe she would be willing to do some SNL stunts, though she really would need botox, Courtney has a much more expressive face. And far less crazy eyes, but she's a pretty good actor so I think she could make that work.

11. She has to get through the primaries first
It won't happen so we can feel free to have as much fun with her as we were intending to have with Palin.

24. A comedic bonanza!
Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert and their writers will have a veritable cornucopia of material to work with, as will every political cartoonist in the country. Comic gold, she is -- maybe even better than Palin. She looks crazier, and some of the things she has said and done actually make Palin look a little bit normal sometimes.

I can hardly wait.
