Okay, what are the costs/benefits of the Right having so many goofballs in Pres race? |
|
With all these wackos thinking of running for Pres on the right, in the long run is it a better thing for Dems or a better thing for them?
On one hand I can see how the more extreme ideas from the right get thrown out there, more average people can figure out how these people want to govern, but then on the other hand I can see how the fringe of the right can get energized when their nut job favorites throw their hat in the ring.
Thoughts?

1. PRO: We only need a couple more and we can call them Mitt Romney and the Seven Dwarfs |
|
CON: The amount of batshit crazy going on makes Lazy Old' Huckabee look moderate and reasonable.
Let's see, the dwarfs are: Quitty, Sleezy, Dopey, Corrupty, Twitchy,....

3. All that Bat Shit Crazy allows one Republican to be labeled... |

"reasonable" and appeal to independents and moderates.
I don't think the electorate will elect bat shit crazy unless it looks and sounds "reasonable." Once elected, bat shit crazy will do what ever it wants.
