1 in 5 in U.S. lost health insurance since 2008 |
|
But yea, let's kill the bill and try again in 10-15 years. Man, the stupidity. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/34448741/ns/health-health_care/

1. If we kill it, and it's the crises you believe |
|
then why do you think that they would wait another 15 years to address it?
If we PASS it, it will not be revisited for 15 years.

3. Well, they are spinning madly trying to put a lot of lipstick on this pig. |
|
But I tend to believe Howard when it comes to Health Care Reform.

4. We're picking our progressives at this point. |
|
No one can make an argument that either Dean or Rockefeller know more about the matter at hand than the other.

7. But I know (as you should) which one has a motive. |
|
One is elected to something right now, and just met with the President who told him that "he needs to sign a bill".
And that's the motive for the spin and the lipstick.
What is Howard's motive to kill what you and Jay Rockefeller believe to be a good bill?

8. That's what I'm asking. |
|
Because his behaviour .... to PUBLICALLY fire salvos at fellow progressives .... is puzzeling to say the least. He doesn't have Harkin's phone number?
We ALL have motives. You have a motive, I have a motive, the President has a motive and so does the GOP.
The one who can find the most people to agree with his motives ....... wins!

5. I gave up on the insurance industry's shitty product 10 years ago. I still say kill this thing. |
|
Does the opinion of an uninsured count? Or only the opinions of those who are afraid of Obama's coattails not being so long as they might've been?
(And I still think passing a shitty bill is a loss for the Dems anyway... so don't do it.)

6. I'm uninsured over 10 years. Kill it. |

The only thing that will bring real reform is the collapse of the for profit system. We're almost there.
Do you honestly think tolerating 20+ million fellow americans left out in the cold with nothing is any more acceptable. If we are going to put up with that monstrosity how about a health care draft. All those without health care are in line first and the ones who go without can be those who have enjoyed wonderful healthcare who advocate for this bullshit so called reform.
A health care system based solely on class is disgusting.
