NH (R) POLL: "The Donald" within six points of Romney, 27/21.
Edited on Tue Apr-05-11 09:50 AM by jefferson_dem
 Mittens would never recover from a second place finish in NH. Just imagine, this could seriously happen: Bachmann wins Iowa. Trump wins NH. Bwahahahaha...

Here’s one last scenario: what if Donald Trump ran for President and the candidates were Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin, Ron Paul, Tim
Pawlenty, Mitt Romney, and Donald Trump. Who would you vote for?

Michele Bachmann ......................................... 3%
Newt Gingrich ................................................. 12%
Mike Huckabee ............................................... 12%
Sarah Palin ..................................................... 7%
Ron Paul ......................................................... 9%
Tim Pawlenty .................................................. 4%
Mitt Romney.................................................... 27%
Donald Trump ................................................. 21%
Someone else/Undecided............................... 7%

1. Mitt Romney and the 7 Dopes. The powers that be in the GOP will never let it happen.
They'll get rid of primaries and have caucuses instead. n/t

15. The Donald has already lied about abortion and gay rights. Apparently he's
now with the Teabaggers on those two issues.

8. Romney
He Is done If he loses both Iowa and NH.For him to win the republican nomination(or as I call it the honor of losing to Obama)
he needs a win In NH.He would probally win the Michigan Primary and Nevada Caucus. But he would likly lose South Carolana Inless others split the conservative vote(which Is how Mccain won the South Carolana Primary back In 2008) and work on winning the
Florida Primary which could decide the nomination.

The big question IS who the Huchabee and Palin supporters will go to since I dodut eather one will exactly run.Gingrich could be
helped by them not running.Bachmann has a decent chance of winning the Iowa Caucus.

Just Imagne sceniro where bachman wins Iowa and trump wins the NH primary. If that happens then the crazyies have officially taken over the Republican primary. And can we say landslide for Obama.

One advantage of Trump running If NBC has to cancle the Apprentace.

13. Trump
Yes they will.Of course Trump If he actully runs Is running on the AntiObama platform.Which Is why he Is becoming the Birther
candiate.

Romney also has serious Issues with far right for all his flipflopping. And It Isn't just Romneycare.

In 1994 he ran to the left on abortion rights and gar Rights running against Ted Kennedy

In 2001 he said he was not part of the reagan and Bush cwoad when peparing to run for governor.

In 2002 he was elected governor as a prochoice Republican.

Romney Is going to be hit during primary on all these. And If he cana ctully win the nomination he gives Obama and his people stuff to
hit him with. The minute he critizes Obama's helath care reform he Is vulenable.Plus Romney's flipflopping on Abortion can be used against him with women voters. And If Romney says DADT should be reinstated that too can be used agaunst him.

11. This state will never go for Trump. This poll may be more of a reflection
on how poorly the other candidates are viewed. The folks up here are infamous at lying to pollsters...it's the State sport.

12. Wow that's insane. It seems like this poll is too early to be accurate. We'll know the truth after
Iowa. If Trump lasts that long.

would make me consider settling in in a different nation illegally if needed. Frightening. You know it's bad when Romney is the "moderate"...

Freaks, all of them.
