Analysts and corporate governance experts are wondering how these votes will play out, even though companies are under no obligation to heed their shareholders’ advice.

He's said that from the beginning. So I don't get your statement....and he's done a lot more than any other president for LGBT rights. Most in the LGBT community don't deny it.
