Trump's stunt is showcasing GOP extremism to a lot of America that doesn't normally see it
There are a LOT of politically passive Americans out there and they see little of FOX, hear little of AM radio and the like. They might have heard of the many rightwingnut conspiracies, but only in passing and likely dismissed it to move on to their bigger interests.

Trump is sucking up so much media oxygen that many of these people are seeing what's happening out there in wingnut world - this is something that they likely saw little of... maybe as the campaign season heats up, more of this shit will be made aware to them, but Trump's circus is telling them who the GOP is, if that is, they weren't already aware...

4. I think his new nickname should be "Tootsie," for appearing something other than what he really is.
He'll pretty much say anything to get attention.

2. Don't Fire The Donald....

....let him keep up his RANTS and Conspiracies.....let hm suck all the oxygen out of the REPUKES TENT..... the longer he is in front of the camera the less we hear about Bachman,Mittens,Huckabee...just like Palin he will soon lose all respect and credibility.

Even at worst Obama still beats any thing the Republicans can put up.

10. Bingo! For me, the light bulb went on when . . .
. . . he declared that Obama was born Barry Soetoro. He's not that stupid. (Unless, of course, he's losing it big time.)

I am not so confident in the American People as many here seem to be, sorry. Maybe I am being cynical but I think this guy could bring out more nuts that the Tea Party! Of course he would have the support of the Tea Party as well!
