It's looking like all the republican candidates will have to go "birther" to have a chance with
the republican base. Trump, Huckabee, Gingrich, Palin and Bachman have made birther/Kenya statements and are OK with the base. Romney is in big trouble and is no doubt out of it with his recent remark about the President being a citizen. Pawlenty seems to be quiet about it but needs to get with it or he's done.

1. I Think In The End We Will Thank Trump For Taking The Birther Issue Off The Table.....
so far some of the Repug candidates have come out and acknowledged that Obama was indeed born in Hawaii. Even Rove is criticizing Trump. I think Trump will keep this up until the all the Repug candidates as well as the Repug party as a whole has to back far away from the 'birther' issue and then Trump will do the same. Going into the 2012 election - I predict that the birther issue will be gone.

2. This just confirms once again how clueless the vast majority of Republicans are..
Seems their brains are just wired differently... probably crosswired and shorted out in some places.

4. good
it may play to the most vocal 15-20% of the base but its a non issue with the rest of the country.

if the GOP candidates really play the Birther issue out its a win for the DEMS hands down. Trump is a joke B list celeb doing what he does; keep his name in papers.
