2. There won't be a special election
Nevada, like 34 other states has the Governor appoint the replacement Senator until the next general election. If he appoints Heller, then that will likely kill any chance of a primary for that seat. Heller announced on March 15 that he would seek Ensign's seat. Sharon Angle has said that she will run for Heller's House seat. There will be a special election, which Angle will presumably run for, however she could be primaried. Now that would be interesting.
