11. So true - a delusional sociopath who looks in the mirror and apparently sees...
...a man with a full head of hair instead of a guy with the worst combover in the history of mankind.

In the book THE SOCIOPATH NEXT DOOR, there is a story about how traditional Eskimos handled sociopaths - they'd take them on a hunting trip and shove them under the ice in order to protect their society. The U.S. celebrates any sociopath who has money and/or power.

8. Not true
I supported Obama's handling of the Manning case as recently as a couple of days ago:

I look at the issues on a case by case basis.

9. Quite right. MOST of America only heard about this "long-standing controversy" this week.
It's so easy to get lost in the echo chamber when we spend all our time immersed in the world of everyday trifling politics.

For those who just tuned it, it was an opportunity for Obama to play Andrew Shepherd. That's all.

Thanks, White House, for the next twenty years of new(ish) Birther kvetching. x(

(No, I'm not seriously blaming the Administration...but there's no way this will be spun as anything more than validation of Trump's fake candidacy.)

23. The administration is more than happy to bolster Trump's fake candidacy
It's a win/win. IF he could get the Republican nomination (which he can't) he would get crushed. If he garners enough support to lead a 3rd party campaign (which he might) that can only help the President. Such a campaign would do nothing but spilt the Tea Party and "right leaning independent" voters which would otherwise all vote Republican. Thanks to Mr. Perot, Bill Clinton beat an incumbent republican President with 43% of the vote.

29. I didn't say that.
Trump has his own reasons (free publicity) for doing what he's doing. That doesn't mean the administration won't use his actions to their advantage. When did Bill Clinton ever take on Ross Perot? That would be never.

40. So we can reasonably hope. However, Trump isn't even seeking the nomination.
He'll quit long before he'd have to do financial disclose, and probably not a second after his Apprentice contract negotiations are done.

In the meantime, I think he is still befuddling actual Republicans, and I guess that's okay by me.

30. Disgraceful for whom? The President sure seems to embarrass YOU.
If you hadn't noticed, the MSM will grab any crap and run with it. Even without permission to do so.

And they don't seem to care that there are important things going on around them. They can't resist idiot sensationalism.

I think I'll go with the President on this decision. Now they have nowhere to go but choose to follow the fringe or find another trivial pursuit.

35. Probably
Trump is a racist.

Freepers aren't upset. They're just going to call it fake or move onto the next issue like his Harvard transcripts. And then something else. And then another thing.

Like I've said Pro-sense, it was never about Obama's birth certificate for the freepers and their ilk. It's about degrading Obama by getting him to do what no other President has had to do.

47. You were wrong. Obama did what he did to show the increasing number of people who
weren't sure that Obama was really legitimate. He both proved that he IS legitimate and called the bluff of the birthers. He did a smart thing and shut up Trump and the other birthers with what he did. There were signs, "Where's the Birth Certificate?" There were books coming out, and more people believing the lies of Trump, who some DID believe since they saw him as credible. Now they see him as a liar, a racist, and a clown.
