Donald Trump is the most disgusting creature on the planet
He's nothing more than a monumental attention-seeking creep, and he's an embarrassment to the Big Apple and the USA.

The fat fuck ought to worry more about his weight than the President's birth certificate. What a world class asshole. :puke:

2. New York has always had its share of big mouths
Edited on Wed Apr-27-11 02:27 PM by BeyondGeography
But the real power of the city was built on hard work, meaningful achievement and a widely shared and humble approach to the question of how to earn a place of dignity in life. "Class" is what some people called it.

Anyway, Old New York started dying in the 80's with the ascent of Wall Street and it has a been a stone rolling down a hill ever since. Donald Trump, this generation's version of New York "class," is the poster child of what an ugly, shallow place New York City it has become, and never has that been more clear than now.

10. Donald Trump does not define NYC
Edited on Wed Apr-27-11 06:16 PM by catgirl
There are MANY cool people in New York. There are loudmouths everywhere (think Sarah Palin-Alaska).... New York is home to many
creative artists, actors, free-spirits.. Donald Trump may own buildings, but he doesn't embody the spirit of most New Yorkers.

20. The city is a sad place compared with what it used to be
Edited on Wed Apr-27-11 09:21 PM by BeyondGeography
Look at a place like E. 86th St., which used to have really cool old greasy spoons like Ideal and a sensible mix of old and new buildings. Now you have the Lucida, with 1BR's north of a million bucks and a bunch of other unsellable Trumpian visions of "housing." Visually abominable and unaffordable. There's an awful lot of that, sorry. Manhattan is for wealthy people and those lucky enough to be tethered to the old rent rules. Wonderful..

16. Trump is nothing like a typical New Yorker
In fact, I would bet that it is the REST of the country that is more amused by his reality show than NYC.

3. The problem is the main stream media gives him
Too much publicity. And he is nothing but a sideshow with no chance of being president.

4. Hey, now, there's no need to insult disgusting creatures
Trump would have to evolve by several magnitudes to rise to the level of "disgusting creature."

15. Well maybe not the MOST disgusting, but certainly up there
While playing on the internet, I saw one RW article that spoke of how unlike several Democrat, people really find Trump interesting. What I wonder is how completely obnoxious people can be sold as "interesting" of even "fun" if the media says it enough. But then, I am still wondering how Bush, known to the media in the 1990s as the nasty drunk son of Bush i, was resurrected into a "nice guy", "like the guy next door", and a "person you would be comfortable with and enjoy having a beer with". This after he ran nasty campaigns in Texas and against McCain - and used dirty tricks against Gore that should have backfired -ie the "debate practice tape, because the serious wonky Gore would need that to beat him in a debate".

With Trump, he doesn't even hide his sneer or lack of respect for others. His comments on most issues are ill informed and all coming out of his ego. He might do well to remember Ann Richards comment about Bush 1 - that he was born on third base and thinks he hit a triple. It likely is a whole lot easier to become a real estate mogul if your father was already a successful one. The odd thing is that I remember long ago being mystified when New York magazine in the 1970s covered him as an interesting young man about town. I didn't see the attraction then - and see it less now.

19. list of projects at trippinguptrump
http://www.trippinguptrump.com/trump-developments

Rancho Palos Verdes California
Donald Trump is suing a town in California for $100million (five times the town’s annual budget) as he believes his civil rights have been breached because of and including the town did not rename the local highway Trump National Drive and that he was required to carry out environmental and safety studies because of landslides in the area.

Yorktown New York State
An area called Indian Hill and French Hill of 436 acres that is mainly open but includes woods and wetland was to be developed by Trump as two golf courses, 45 miles north of Manhattan.

SoHo New York
Donald Trump’s condo hotel in the Manhattan area of New York has been shut down at least four times with fifteen building violations during its construction. This has even included the tower’s crane hitting a neighbouring building which the site managers had also failed to report to the authorities. In the most series example one worker died (with three others injured) when the floor beneath him collapsed as cement was poured from a crane.

I just hope someone discloses something big about him that makes him decide against running and embarrasses the hell out of him. He certainly deserves it.
