2. The economic confidence index bump is nice to see too.
Probably means the people are finally figuring out who is really screwing us.

7. This should last a long while
This bump up in the polls should last Obama several months at least. The administration is handling the gradual, continual, release of details perfectly. It is like a really good book where you only get to read a page a day. Obama also appears to building on this success by backing popular measures such as ending oil tax subsidies and cracking down on speculators (there is already predictions of gas falling 50 cents a gallon by summer). He also stressed at his speech at Fort Campbell that we will start handing over Afghanistan to the locals this summer.

If he continues in this vein, he will be unbeatable, and everyone will know it by Christmas. I still think unemployment will remain well above 8%, but now believe Obama will win re-election.
