3. When the "bottom of the barrel" is actually in contention, it surely
says a lot about the GOP. I almost, not quite, feel sorry for them.

5. Great strategery!
"Hey, guys, I know how we can beat Obama. We need to get ourselves a black man! Sure, Michael Steele didn't work out, but I'm sure this Cain fella will be just the ticket!"

10. I think they may end up doing just that
Hilarious! I can't wait! Obama 75%, Cain 25% (reminiscent of his race against Alan Keyes).

7. Agreed.
That's the real story. Tim Pawlenty MIGHT BE good general election candidate, but before that happens, he (and Huntsman too) have to find a Republican primary they can win.

Iowa

New Hampshire

South Carolina

Huntsman and/or Pawlenty must win at least 1 of the first 3. If not, money dries up and they exit the race.

The real story here perhaps isn't the rise of Herman Cain. The real story is "WHERE IS TIM PAWLENTY?"

9. It's possible and the teabaggers do like to window dress to show they aren't racist just look at
Steele. Personally I think Bachmann will win Iowa.

12. Herman Cain has a couple things going for him that explain the popularity
He's had nothing to do with D.C or politics in general...

and He yells a lot and bashes Obama loudly.

Oh and he's immune to the whole "you're racist!!" thing
