I wish the President could explain the future of NASA better

Looks like NASA is headed into deep space exploration again and ending the earth circling.

I am not real patient with doomers and gloomers.. I am a get off your behind and get moving kind of person.

So the gnashing of teeth at the ending of the shuttle program worked for about 10 minutes.

Oh and yes they are blaming the President for the shuttle system ending and our DOMINATION OF SPACE...I know its nutsy fagen, but you can't stop the ODS.. it is too ingrained/

But I found this on CNN.. and it explains why the shuttle system is ending and where we are headed.

The funny thing is, I am old enough to remember this same conversazione when the shuttle program started. We are ending our DOMINATION OF SPACE.. because we we not going back to the moon etc.

I guess everything old is new again..
