Who's in charge, Boehner or the Tea Party? All the news stories |
suggest that Boehner is scuttling the talks, but I suspect he's just covering for the fact that he can't deliver his caucus for anything Grover Norquist disapproves of.

instead of working on this issue! Didn't Boehner say something to the effect that everyone knows you talk trash during the campaigns but settle down and do something different once elected? I guess the Tea Party congressmen didn't get that memo!

3. He hasn't done anything regarding jobs. |
Since he became Speaker, what legislation has come from the Republicans on job creation? None that I know of.

4. Boehner's between a rock and a hard place, |
considering he's having to please the Tea Party and defend his Speakership from the likes of Eric Cantor. As much as I dislike Boehner, I'd take him over Cantor any day.
